The North Woolwich To Stratford Page

North London Line

Previously part of the Great Eastern Railway The Original Line ran from North Woolwich to Palace Gate Nr today's Bounds Green GNER depot.

In December 2006 The Line from Stratford to North Woolwich will close to Heavy Rail. The Line will be incorporated into the Docklands Light Railway. Using the Old track bed from Stratford Low Level to Canning Town, Thus leaving the rest of the line out of use. There are plans thou to use part of the line as London's only steam railway but no news has come about yet!

Silvertown was less then 10 minutes away but was the nearest Heavy Rail station to the Airport

The Station originally Had 2 platforms the line was single track
